Automatic Retractable Bollards
or telescoping bollards are used
when raising and lowering
bollards must be done multiple
times per day. A
hydraulic or
pneumatic pump
raises or
lowers
the bollard in 5 to 6 seconds on
command.
The
Automatic Bollard
works on a pump which raises and
lowers the bollard when commanded,
initiated by a person stationed
in a guard house; a person
placing the right code into a
remotely mounted ‘touch pad’
(like a telephone); a person
depressing a ‘clicker’ like a
garage door opener from within
their car; or by a signal
emitted from a vehicle which is
recognized as acceptable to have
access through the location
where the
Automatic
Bollard(s) is
installed.
